“When the renovated Houston Farmers Market opens next year, it will introduce a variety of new restaurants, a butcher and new retail for the Heights-area community.

While some restaurants — such as the previously announced Underbelly Hospitality concepts — are already set, new the owners at MLB Capital Partners are suggesting a wine and cheese store, a yoga studio, a bakery or even a boot and hat store to fill one of its eight buildings.

Some spaces — such as a 3,960-square-foot space in the building that will also house Underbelly Hospitality’s fast-casual concept — are still to be leased. MLB Partner Todd Mason suggested a distillery or brewery for one space next to the Underbelly full-service restaurant. The spot, overlooking an acre of green space, would make it a great fit for such a tenant, he thinks.”
