Chris Shepherd to open burger restaurant at Houston Farmers Market
James Beard Award-winning chef Chris Shepherd’s culinary stamp on Houston continues to grow with news that his Underbelly Hospitality will open a burger restaurant.
MLB Capital Partners, the Houston commercial real estate company that owns the Houston Farmers Market, announced Friday that Shepherd will open Underbelly Burger this summer at the redeveloped farmers market, 2520 Airline. The restaurant, which will feature burgers with beef sourced from RC Ranch Texas Craft Meats in Angleton and 44 Farms in Cameron, will be located next to Shepherd’s upcoming Wild Oats restaurant.

Market closed only on Christmas Day
