The Houston Farmers Market is adding a dash of sweetness to the holidays with GingerBread Lane! A national sensation, GingerBread Lane has traveled around the country to bring a magical world of gingerbread villages to life and is now making its Houston debut at the Houston Farmers Market. This year, guests of all ages are invited to explore “The 12 Days of Texas,” a FREE, delectable gingerbread display featuring whimsical gingerbread houses and intricately made sculptures inspired by the Lone Star State. GingerBread Lane begins its fabulous display at the Houston Farmers Market on Friday, November 17 and will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sunday, January 14.
In addition to viewing the beautiful gingerbread village, guests are invited to build their own whimsical gingerbread creations at the GingerBread Lane workshops on December 3, 16, and 20. For $25, workshop attendees can learn how to craft their holiday masterpiece with Jon Lovitch, the creator of Gingerbread Lane and Guinness World Record-holder for “largest entirely edible gingerbread village.”
